Evidence Dance Company Presents, "Grace in the Winter" at The Plaza, NYC 2009
The EVIDENCE Dance Company's "Grace in the Winter" 5th Annual Gala Benefit held at the Plaza Hotel in New York City, showcased their exceptional dance versatility to a rapt audience. Rene Syler served as Mistress of Ceremonies as she presided over this Gala. The Gala Chairs, Don and Katrina Peebles were unable to attend due to family priorities. Reginald Van Lee who is a benefactor and is the EVIDENCE Board of Directors Chair was as magnetic and cordial as he always is and took great pleasure in presenting Noel Hankin, Sr. VP of Moet Hennessy with the Corporate Leader Award and Susan Taylor of Essence Magazine & Khephra Burns with their Visionary Award. In attendance were, Ronald K. Brown, Joyce Mullins-Jackson, Reggie Canal, Dr. Ancy Verdier, Judge Bernard Jackson among others. Curtis Martin formerly of the NY Jets was present as well as B. Micheal, Maurice DuBois, Andrea DuBois, Jocelyn Taylor and Audrey Smaltz. Media sponsor, Hamptons.Com was represented by Vanessa Leggard and Nicole Brewer. However, most important were the exceptional EVIDENCE dancers led by, Founder, Artistic Director & Choreographer, Ronald K. Brown, Arcell Cabuag, Joel Sule Adams, Otis Donovan Herring, Francine Elizabeth Ott, Tifffany Quinn, Lilli-Anne Tai & Clarice Young.
